Diana created her own dance diagrams and made them available to all dancers.

Susan's off to Stonehaven

Susan has danced with us and taught us for many years and now she's off to live in her home town of Stonehaven.  Bye, Susan, we shall all miss you.

70th Anniversary Abingdon SCDC

We have been dancing and part of Abingdon social life since 1951.  Recently, we had our 70th Anniversary Ball and, of course, there were balloons and cake.

Diana's presentation

Diana, in those red shoes, stepped down from teaching after many years of leading dancing evenings at Abingdon. Hilary, our chair, presented her with flowers and lots of good wishes from us all. Diana is still an enthusiastic dancer at Abingdon club nights.

Over a lifetime of dancing Diana developed an extensive library of dance diagrams and has made them available for all dancers.

We do like a party

Scottish country dancing is ideal for a party or a ceilidh.

Here's a picture from Susan and Gwen's party with lots of Abingdon dancers.

Dixon's Delight

Dixon Halliday was a teacher at Abingdon for many years. Diana and Moira devised a dance to mark his 90th birthday in 2017.
